Pulsar P4 Ladies' (Oval, Gold-Filled)
Pulsar's first model for women
The Pulsar P4 ladies model was the first LED wristwatch with a movement miniaturized enough for a ladies model. It features an elegant oval shape which is matched by the crystal and the bracelet - classic Pulsar style.

Pulsar P4 ladies' models came in two styles, the oval shape shown here and also a square "cushion" shaped model. Both were available in stainless steel and gold filled versions as well as 14 KT solid gold models by special order. For the woman with everything, this oval model was also available as a solid gold model with diamonds around the perimeter of the time screen!
This example uses a magnet set module which uses a small magnet hidden in the clasp touched to the back of the case to set the time and date. Later models used an autoset model where the time and date could be set by tapping the front command buttons three times in quick succesion.
Interestingly, the P4 ladies' model uses the exact same module as the men's P4 dress model except that the display on the ladies model has smaller digits. The modules are otherwise interchangeable.
This P4 ladies model is a nice counterpart to the mens' P4 executive. They make a very attractive pair.
Case: Very good.
The case has only a few tiny marks on the case and case back.
Face / Hands: Excellent.
All LED digits and segments are complete and bright.
The red mineral glass crystal on this ladies' Pulsar is flawless.
Band / Bracelet: Very good.
The bracelet is in very good shape with only a few tiny scratches on the links and clasp. However, it is a bit small, with 10 out of 12 links and will comfortably fit a dainty 6.5" wrist. The clasp contains the original setting magnet and magnet holder.
Function / Accuracy: Excellent.
All functions work perfectly. Digital quartz accuracy. Actually, since quartz crystals actually improve with age and the original Pulsar accuracy was a phenomenal 30 seconds per year, these vintage Pulsars usually keep time better than most modern quartz watches!
